Handle Operation The volume and temperature of the water are controlled by the two handles, HOT and COLD. Cut Out Dimensions The cut out in wall should be 3 holes, 1.3 inches in diameter which will properly be covered by the trim plates. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall. Trims The trims comprise of well-finished handle knobs, handle trims, cartridge covers, and spout. Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.
