This sink is actually patterned after an antique East Indian cooking vessel. Each sink is carefully sand cast and hand finished in bronze. All bronze sinks have a living finish, which means that the sink will continue to darken with use.
Proper care is somewhat personal. If the sink is presently or gets too dark for your taste it can easily by lightened with the green side of a scotch bright pad. If you prefer it darker, just give it some time and use. But typically a simple cleaning with soap and water is all that is needed.
